Terms of Service

mimpi.io is operated by Kitamao LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States. Kitamao LLC is the seller of all mimpi.io services and your legal counterparty under these terms, regardless of how you pay. You can reach us at support@mimpi.io or via the support page.

mimpi.io is a creative studio for generating, editing and animating images and video, and for generating music, with AI. You describe what you want; the service sends your request to the AI model you chose, or to a default one, and the result is saved to your private library. Features include image generation, conversational editing, a canvas studio, image-to-video animation, and music generation with lyrics.

Music generation produces audio through a third-party model provider, and your use of the resulting audio is subject to that provider's terms as described in Your content below, as well as these.

The service is provided on an as-available basis. AI generation is probabilistic: we do not guarantee that any particular output will match your expectations, and the set of available models may change over time. Smart Studio projects are held in your own browser rather than on our servers and are lost if you clear your browser storage — see the Privacy Policy.

You sign in with a Kitamao ID, a single sign-on account operated by Kitamao. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use mimpi.io; if you are under 18, you may only use it with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Each person may have one mimpi.io account. Using extra accounts to collect free Sparks, rewards, votes or prizes is not allowed. If we find it, we may remove the Sparks or prizes gained that way and close the accounts involved.

Generation on mimpi.io is paid for with Sparks: prepaid usage units for AI generation within mimpi.io. Each generation consumes a number of Sparks that depends on the model and settings used, shown before you run it.

You can buy Sparks in two ways. In both cases the seller of the mimpi.io service is Kitamao LLC:

• By card, processed by Stripe. Card purchases of Sparks are sold by Kitamao LLC.
• By spending Kitamao Kredit, a balance held in your Kitamao ID account, which can be used to pay for mimpi.io services. Kredit is not a mimpi.io balance and mimpi.io does not hold Kredit on your behalf; it is managed in your Kitamao ID account under its own terms.

We may also grant Sparks at no charge — a one-time welcome grant when you sign up, promotional codes, creator rewards, and prizes for featured examples and events. Granted Sparks follow the same rules as purchased Sparks.

Sparks however obtained are identical in use, but Sparks and Kredit are not the same thing and are not interchangeable. Sparks are service usage units, not money. Specifically, Sparks:

• can only be used for AI generation within mimpi.io — nowhere else;
• are non-transferable between users or accounts;
• have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, redeemed for money, or exchanged;
• cannot be converted into Kitamao Kredit — the flow from Kredit to Sparks is one-way;
• cannot be used to pay third parties or on any other site or service;
• are not a wallet, a deposit, or stored value of any kind.

Sparks bought as a one-time top-up do not expire while your account is active. Sparks granted by a subscription reset at the end of each billing period (see below).

A subscription grants an allowance of Sparks each billing period. Unused subscription Sparks do not carry over: the allowance resets when the period renews. You can cancel at any time from the app; cancellation stops future renewals, and your subscription benefits continue until the end of the period already paid for. Refund treatment is described in the Refund & Dispute Policy.

You keep the rights you have in the prompts and images you submit. To run the service, you grant Kitamao LLC a licence to store, process and transmit your inputs — including to the AI model providers that produce your generations — and to host the results in your gallery. Subject to the model providers’ terms and applicable law, you may use your generated outputs for personal or commercial purposes.

Your gallery is private to your account. We do not publish your generations. You may choose to publish an individual image, video or song to the public Explore page, in which case it is visible to anyone, including people who are not signed in, and a published image or video is shown with its prompt. By publishing you grant us a licence to display it, and you allow other mimpi.io users to download a published image or video and to use a published image as the starting point for their own generations (remixes). A published song shows its title, cover art and lyrics; its style description is shown only if you leave “Show my prompt on Explore” on, and others may cover or download it only if you turn on “Let others cover it”. When a new person remixes or covers your work you may receive Sparks as a creator reward, at the rate shown in the app. If you have claimed a public username, it is shown on your published work as attribution — including on anything you published before claiming it. If you have not claimed one, no name or account identifier is attached. You can unpublish anything at any time, which removes the attribution with it. We may remove published content that breaks the rules below.

Anyone who is signed in can report a picture, clip or song on Explore that they think breaks these terms. When several different people report the same item, we hide it from Explore automatically until we have reviewed it. We can remove anything that breaks these terms, and we may restore something we hid if the review finds nothing wrong. If we hid something of yours and you think that was a mistake, email support@mimpi.io.

You agree not to use mimpi.io to:

• create or share content that is illegal, or that sexualises or endangers minors in any form;
• generate content intended to harass, defame, or impersonate real people without their consent;
• infringe the intellectual-property rights of others;
• probe, overload, or interfere with the service, or attempt to bypass Spark accounting or access models directly;
• resell, share, or automate access to the service beyond normal personal or business use.

We may refuse generations, remove content, or suspend accounts that violate these rules. Where reasonable we will warn you first.

Featured examples are opt-in. If you made a result with a look or template and it is already shared to Explore, you can put it forward to be shown as the example for that look. To do that you must be 18 or older, and you must confirm that the photo is yours (or that everyone in it said yes) and that you consent to mimpi showing it as the example for that look, with your @username. You need a username to be featured. We choose which results to feature, and putting one forward does not guarantee it will be picked. A featured pick earns at least 50 ✦, paid in Sparks. You can withdraw a result at any time, which stops it being shown as the example.

From time to time we run events. Each event has official rules on its page, which apply alongside these terms. In every event:

• entry is free — no purchase is necessary, and you enter something you have already made;
• you must be 18 or older to enter;
• entries are judged on skill, never by chance — there are no random draws;
• prizes are Sparks, which have no cash value and cannot be transferred;
• each person can win one prize;
• mimpi staff cannot win;
• we may change the dates, or cancel an event before results are published; if we cancel, no prizes are paid and your entries stay yours.

Winning entries may be shown on mimpi with the winner’s @username.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, mimpi.io is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and Kitamao LLC’s total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid to Kitamao LLC in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be announced in the app or by email, and the “last updated” date above will change. You may stop using the service at any time; account deletion is described in the Privacy Policy. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
